♥ Kids don't like letting you take pictures when you could clearly use that time to play and jump on puddles;
♥ Which leads me to this: if you have a busy 2 year old in your hands, red flags should instantly be raised and neon lights should flash brightly in your mind when she runs directly to the biggest puddle on the street...although I'm pretty convinced that thing was an ocean;
♥ Taking a hint when said little lady looks at you with these guilty, puppy eyes {yes, we've all seen them and fell for them} and sheepishly whispers 'I'm sorry, Godmama'. By then, her skirt was a washcloth and her tights could mop the floor;
♥ Minnie rain boots win the Cuteness Overload Contest...and every other contest in the world;
♥ Suspenders are cool. Just ask the people who stared at me;
♥ Don't take train talk too seriously, especially when a man 2 rows in front of you threatens to pick up a gun and head to the Portuguese parliament if they don't give him some cash. On the bright side, if this does happen, I know who did it...but that's just creepy;
♥ People who latch on to you when you're walking home and ask you for directions to the courthouse are mildly awkward. Especially when they tell you their life story on the way and all you can do is nod and smile politely in a "oh. I get you. Now if you could just walk faster..." manner;
♥ Take a chill pill before you head out into the traffic joys in the morning. It'll save you a headache...and some pathetic tears;
♥ Every afternoon rocks as long as this little lady is there with me.
