Well… hello there… people!
… Wow. This is awkward. Okay, so I assume you came here because you want to know more about me, or maybe you just clicked on this link by accident. Either way! Let’s get crackin’ before it gets even more awkward. Soooooo… my name is Francisca. Obviously. I’m a 20 year old girl from Portugal. I study journalism and I’m currently on my 3rd year at college.
I mean. This is awkward. Am I the only one who doesn’t like talking about herself? Or saying awkward 2,578 times? I feel like I’m reciting my life story to a stranger with an awkward (!!!) fake smile on my face. Jeez Louise. Okay. What else can I tell y’all…
Well, let’s get random. I love photographing, I couldn’t function without my iPhone – sad, I know, but I care not! –, I talk a lot, I’m pretty passionate; also pretty freaking tiny at just 5’2’’, a bit crazy, a bit mellow, probably too optimistic? Nah. No such thing.
More… I’m obsessed with football. I am also interning at a sports' newspaper come May 2015. Yep. Betcha didn't see that one coming, did ya? Hah.
I have Crohn’s disease. Was this too blunt? Ha! Summarizing: I’m doing okay, I’m optimistic and everything is going to be just fine. There was a time when no one knew about this, but I figure sharing is caring, and if at least one person can be helped or informed about the disease from reading my testimony, then I’m beyond happy. You can read more about my experience here.
And… eeeep. I think that’s all! Phew. There’s a lot more I could say about myself, but I’m tired and my fingers hurt, so, too-da-loo! Ha. Thanks for reading and congrats if you made it to the bottom! Kudos to you. You are awesome, person.
