If you're someone who doesn't deal with chaos well and needs to have everything perfectly organised 24/7, then you'll know how stressful it is to pack a suitcase for a few days away. Whether it's three days or a week, it doesn't matter, it's always stressful and the fear of leaving something essential behind - happens to me every time - is real.
Who hasn't taken 90% of their closet on holiday because, suddenly, everything seemed essential and leaving this top or that dress - which we didn't even wear in the end - behind seemed impossible? Well, I have some very useful tips on how to pack properly for a holiday, using the 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 method (here).
So, what is the 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 method? It's simple: pack 5 tops (basic camis, blouses and a jeans jacket, for example), 4 bottoms (jeans, shorts, skirts), 3 dresses and 3 pairs of shoes (flip flops, sandals and some wedges, i.e.), 2 bikinis - I'm cheating here - and 2 bags (a beach bag and a cross body bag, i.e.) and 1 pair of sunglasses, accessories and a hat.
