It'll never stop surprising me just how funny life can be. One moment you're going through life barely present, seeing the days run away from your grasp, and the next moment in comes a burst of flavor into what you felt was a lackluster time in your life.
Truth is, we have to let go of preconceived notions and the simple act of measuring our lives in comparison to other people's. My life, my pace, my problem. We have to realize that not everyone will understand our decisions, our attitudes and our choices, nor should they.
Also important: life is so, so, so damn short. Cliché of the century, perhaps, but life taught me this brusquely and suddenly, so there's no spare time to fill with bullshit, self preservation and prissy attitudes. We live on borrowed time, might as well bring in the occasional boob flash, cheeky flirtation, risqué conversations that are probably frowned upon but feel oh so refreshing, going mental over football, swearing here and there. Spit some fire, everyday, everywhere. Being mute gets boring after a second. Remembering to simplesmente viver... Simply live.
